Please be aware they run small! I literally ordered a "9" (40) because the 8-8 1/2 (39) were too tight when I ordered them six months ago. I wear a size 8 normally in shoes. There was no problem sending them back on Amazon BUT I so had wanted them to fit. I have a wider toe area and since the boots are more tapered in front, they pinched and were not comfortable. Now as I am thinking of fall comingI kept wishing I could get them. They were & are great quality and would go either with jeans, pants or with tights and a dress. So, I thought, why not try a full size up? Yikes I never took a 9 ever. Well I am SO GLAD I did because these 9's will work out perfectly. They do NOT make your feet look huge! They will work with socks when I wear pants. When I wear tights they felt slight loose but doable. Then I tried them with short black socks over the tights! Yeah! They fit perfectly that way and with Ohio winters, my toes will be nice and cozy. The point is take the advice of many. Go up a 1/2 or full size and they will fit and you will LOVE THEM. Quality is amazing. Leather is soft and comfortable. Brocade pattern on the boot is beautiful. Heels are just right and quiet on floor. Zipper feels nice and stitching is ombre. So many nice touches. Can't wait to wear them! :)
